Brigg Evans Design expands to artisan "small" Projects

Brigg Evans Design, is a creative company which has grown beyond my Print on Demand Product line to assisting customers/clients with their small projects. I'm Suzanne (Suz) Klumb and small creative projects are my "Schtick".

There is a process  that I use starting with a bid sheet and asking the clients if they can do a sit by my side time. I like this format because money and time are put into perspective as well as sharing desk time with me so a clearer understanding of the project needs can be determined. Brigg Evans Design's role is artist technical assistant to the client who is considered the designer. There is a benefit to this working role format and will be discussed later.

Here are some "small" project samples that Brigg Evans Design has done.

  • Church Banners and Signage.
  • Personalization for a group or just 1 person. One customer wanted a tea towel with a Family Picture and a recipe. Others were of their pets. They were printed on Tees and Sweatshirts. See Below.
  • Another client wanted assistance to place their own artwork on cards, so a digital file of the artist's work was done. This became a two-fold project. One step was getting a digital file and the second was teaching how this file is used to get reproduced into the format the customer wanted. Because Brigg Evans Design worked as a technical assistant to the client all files of the project were transferred to the client after completion and payments were fulfilled. Now the client can use the files for other product reproductions. This builds the product/sales lines for the artist. The working format with Brigg Evans Design as a technical assistant, is a value to the client. No Intellectual Property conflict occurs. Example: Beside cards or t-shirts or tea towels the clients can use the files to print mugs, journals, totes etc.
  • The latest project was a personal request from a community representative who wanted to attend an event promoting the community they work for by having fabric printed with community icons and making a garment with the fabric. This was a private venture, however this same approach could easily be plugged into by other community Chambers.  See Below.
  • Above shows the finished garments and the icon art used for the fabric. If a public chamber wanted to venture into a project like this, because of the technical role of Brigg Evans Design, once the project is completed and paid for they would receive the files and could broaden their product and revenue base. A couple of samples are shown below. Brigg Evans Design only offers the technical assistance. The actual buying is done by the client so the best prices on products can be obtained.
